It’s nice when smaller, more left-field games do well, so we’re happy to hear that Firewatch, one of 2016’s indie gems developed by Campo Santo, has now sold over one million copies.

We reviewed Firewatch on PC way back in February 2016 and thoroughly enjoyed it, awarding it a worthy 8/10. Following the exploits of a man named Henry who’s taken on the job of fire lookout at the Shoshone National Forest, it’s a wonderful combination of exploration and mystery, with some great character development to boot. In fact, Firewatch‘s story is so good that it’s going to made into a movie. Let’s just hope that it turns out better than the usual videogame movie fare, huh?

Available on PC, PS4 and Xbox One, if you haven’t already played Firewatch then it’s well worth picking up. PS4 Pro owners will also find that it is quite nicely enhanced for them too.
