Top 10 Troy Baker characters

It would seem that a triple-A title isn’t a proper triple-A title unless Troy Baker has a voice in it these days. The man is everywhere. He’s a talented actor though – from Joel to Batman, and even The President of the United States – Mr. Baker has had more voice acting jobs than we’ve had hot dinners. Here’s a rundown of 10 of our favourite voiceovers Troy-ceovers (get it?!)…

1. Delsin Rowe (inFamous: Second Son)

The main character in inFamous: Second Son is spunky, a bit arrogant and annoying but we kinda like him anyway.

“I’m gonna be different, Okay? I’m not there doing what they do, I’m there to save lives, I’m gonna be like Super Man.”

2. Vincent Brooks (Catherine)

You can’t not like Vincent, the main protagonist in Catherine. He’s so unbelievably troubled, what with his constant nightmares and having to run around with loads of sheep whilst wearing his pink love-heart boxers. But he has got two women on the go, so we can’t feel that sorry for him.

3. Batman (Lego Batman 3)

Travellers Tales decided that when they were going to characterise their Lego version of Batman, they were going to make him a total apathetic arse. And it works. His indifference to everything never fails to make us chuckle.

4. Pagan Min (Far Cry 4)

Far Cry 4‘s flamboyant main villain is a total bastard, but you can’t help but like him. Kind of.

Pagan Min, Pagan Min, Pagan Min!
Pagan Min, Pagan Min, Pagan Min!

5. The Joker (Batman: Arkham Origins)

When word got out that series staple Mark Hamill wasn’t cast as the Joker in Batman: Arkham Origins, we were a little worried. But then we found out Troy Baker was stepping into the role and all was fine again. I mean, come on, who else could fill those shoes? Troy Baker joins the crazy train for this role and totally knocks it out of the park.
