With Sony’s announcement of the upcoming Project Morpheus headset yesterday along with Oculus Rift and Samsung Gear VR’s impending release, the age of true virtual reality gaming is almost upon us. We’ve spent some time visiting our back catalogue and having a look at 10 potential virtual reality games we’d love to experience…

10. Gran Turismo

The uber-realistic driving experience of Gran Turismo would make for one of the most perfect virtual reality games. Especially coupled with a steering wheel and a driving seat. The high speeds might make even the strongest of stomachs a little nauseous though.

9. The Elder Scrolls

Any massive open world game would make an amazing VR experience, but The Elder Scrolls takes the biscuit. There’d be something quite amazing about discovering new lands and intrepid adventuring across the regions of Tamriel, all from the comfort of your living room.

6. Borderlands

The brilliant cartoon style of Borderlands coupled with the crazy fast-paced action would make for a trippy virtual reality games experience. Although you may get a bad neck, constantly having to look down to talk to poor short Claptrap…
