Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection leaked for PS4

What has been heavily rumoured for a while has been confirmed: an Uncharted HD collection is coming to PlayStation 4, named Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection.

The news got out by an unfortunate image leak on the US mobile PlayStation Store, where the banner, featuring the game’s title, had accidentally been uploaded a little too early.

Neil Druckmann, the Creative Director of the studio behind Uncharted, Naughty Dog, all but confirmed the leak this morning, when he tweeted “Well.. that hit a few hours early”. Looks like Naughty Dog had intended to make an official announcement later today.

Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection will include the three Uncharted games that were smash hits on PlayStation 3, namely Uncharted: Drakes Fortune, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves and Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception.

There’s no word of a release date yet, but we assume it’ll be out very soon, ahead of the rescheduled release of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End which will be arriving in 2016. We imagine Naughty Dog may well announce a release date later today, and we’ll update as soon as they do!

Update: We can confirm that Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection is due to be released on 9 October 2015!
