Whoa, okay – we didn’t see that coming.
Xbox One backwards compatibility is coming.
Get your Xbox 360 collection out of storage… you’ll soon be able to play them on your Xbox One.
Digital titles from your 360 will soon appear automatically in your Xbox One library, and retail discs will work just by popping them in the drive and downloading the content.
Games will play exactly how they originally played on your 360 – but better, thanks to the technology of the Xbox One.
There’ll be no fee – everyone’s console will automatically update with the backwards compatibility feature later this year.
Well played, Microsoft, well played.
