10 Of The Most Valuable PS2 Games

5. Wild Arms 5 (UK)

most valuable PS2 games

Finally, a game worth more in the EU than NA. A brand new and sealed copy of Wild Arms 5 has sold for £115, making it one of the rarest and most valuable PS2 games out there. A used copy will bring in around £75, too. Its predecessor Wild Arms 4 seems to sell for between £20 to £50 – not as rare as it’s sequel, mind, but still not a value to be sniffed at.

4. Dot Hack Collection

most valuable PS2 games

If you have a new and sealed collection of all seven .hack and .hack//GU games, you could be looking at around $600 (£400) for the lot. Used, Part 4 alone can sell for around £70.

3. Beatmania IIDX 16 Empress + Premium Best (Japan)

most valuable PS2 games

This rare Japanese import sells for around $120 (£90) if you’re lucky enough to get your hands on one. There’s plenty other Beatmania games in the series, but most others straggle behind at under £10 on eBay UK.

2. Silent Hill: Shattered Memories (UK)

most valuable PS2 games

Konami’s Silent Hill: Shattered Memories is one of the most valuable PS2 games out there, with a sealed PAL copy worth in the region of £150. Used copies in good condition still sell for around £50 to £70. Not such a scary game now, is it?

1. Rule of Rose

most valuable PS2 games

A new and sealed copy of 505 Games’ Rule of Rose has sold for almost £1,000, whilst a used copy seems to sell between £100 to £500. To say this is such a rare and valuable PS2 game, there’s plenty going around on eBay. If you’re lucky enough to have this one in your collection, you’ve got a nice little gold nugget right under your nose.
