Top 10 Backwards Compatible Xbox 360 Games

6. LEGO Stars Wars: The Complete Saga

LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga is a compilation of LEGO Stars Wars: The Video Game and LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy, bringing together the LEGO-ified versions of the first six Star Wars episodes.

Whilst LEGO Star Wars wasn’t the first LEGO game, it was the first from Traveller’s Tales, and what is now one of the most popular family game franchises. People who don’t even like video games like to play LEGO games… because it’s LEGO. And who doesn’t like LEGO? LEGO Star Wars was the first game to capture the imaginations of players of all ages, and whilst it may not be as big or as feature-packed as some of the newer iterations, it’s undoubtedly still many people’s favourite.

5. Fable 2

Top 10 Fable-min

I was late to the Fable party, so Fable 3 was my first foray into Lionhead Studio’s magnificent fantasy land of Albion. As much as I loved Fable 3, I heard the outcries of “Fable 2 is better!” and so I’m excited to get the chance to play through it now on Xbox One (though Fable 3 fans, fear not: Fable 3 is also backwards compatible!)

The open world of Fable 2 allows you the freedom of what you do and where you go. You can even control your emotions by choosing from a number of facial expressions during dialogue cutscenes. It was kind of revolutionary at the time – and even now, there aren’t that many games out there capturing the wonder of the Fable games. How sweet it is to be able to visit Albion again on Xbox One!

Editor in chief // Kim's been into video games since playing Dizzy on her brother's Commodore 64 as a nipper. She'll give just about anything a go, but she's got a particular soft spot for indie adventures. If she's not gaming, she'll be building Lego, reading a thriller, watching something spooky or... asleep. She does love to sleep.
