With over 1.5 million PC users, 7 Days to Die, the crafting game from The Fun Pimps, is finally coming to consoles courtesy of Telltale Publishing. It is available for purchase digitally and in stores as of 28 June in the United States. 7 Days to Die is currently on the PlayStation Store and the Xbox Game Store for US owners and will be available on 1 July in Europe.
7 Days to Die is set in an apocalyptic world totally overrun by the undead. It is an open-world first person game that also has elements of tower defence and role-playing games. During the game its players can craft, fight, mine, loot and explore the world around them in order to survive against the zombie hordes and mother nature herself. Rick Huenik, co-founder of The Fun Pimps, said this about working with Telltale Publishing on this project, “Working with Telltale Publishing to bring the game to even more players on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 has been fantastic. We’ve added some special features just for the console release, and beyond launch, we have some exciting DLC already in the works that we hope console players are going to love.”
The console version of 7 Days to Die will feature a new multiplayer mode supporting local split-screen co-op so you can play with your friends right at home. The game also has some extra DLC content that features a Walking Dead skin pack where you can unlock character outfits from the popular Telltale series.
