Battlefield 4 “Naval Strike” DLC Available Now for Free

EA are trying to ramp up the hype for Battlefield in the lead-up to Battlefield 1‘s launch. As a result, they’re giving away DLC for Battlefield 4 completely free. Yup, zilch, zero, nada, nil.

Between 19 and 26 July, Battlefield 4 Naval Strike DLC is entirely free on all formats. Whether you’re on PC, Xbox One, PS4, Xbox 360 or PS3, you can log in right now and download Naval Strike without spending a penny. Be quick though – this is a timed offer, and won’t be available after Tuesday, 26 July.

It’s not a new piece of DLC; Naval Strike was first released back in 2016, but as part of EA’s marketing campaign for Battlefield 1, they’re revisiting old content to give away to Battlefield fans who don’t already own it.

Naval Strike comprises four new maps around the South China Sea area, as well as a new amphibious vehicle to make water-based combat all that more exciting. There’s also new weapons, including a grenade launcher and an anti-heli mine.

Here’s the official trailer for Battlefield 4 Naval Strike. Remember, grab it before it’s too late!
