The Witcher continues the hunt with a GOTY edition

It was inevitable, but CD Projekt Red have announced they’re making a Game of the Year edition for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. It will include all major and minor DLC packs along with all the patches and bug fixes pre-installed with the game. No official date has been given, but there are rumors afoot.

The story first broke when Eurogamer uncovered a listing on the German ratings board, which seems to be how every collection or GOTY edition gets leaked nowadays.

Eurogamer heard details from a source that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Game of the Year Edition will release on August 26 for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. This date was  denied by CD Projekt Red, but soon after the studio launched a trailer, shared below, officially announcing an August 30 debut. Prepare to hunt monsters with Geralt all over again in less than three weeks in the U.S. and Europe.
