Zelda: The Breath of the Wild Features Iconic Temple of Time

Any fan of the Zelda series will instantly be familiar with the Temple of Time. Remember first visiting its grandeur in Ocarina of Time? The gorgeous temple was also featured in Link’s Wii adventures, Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword.

Now, Nintendo are teasing some footage of the Temple of Time in upcoming Breath of the Wild.

Set in a different time period, Breath of the Wild’s incarnation of the Temple of Time sees it in a state of ruin, with sunlight flooding in through damaged areas of the roof; entire sections of wall are missing, and the once glorious marble floors and stained glass windows have been reclaimed by nature, as moss and ivy grows throughout the temple.

The building is just as impressive as ever though, and we can be sure that the temple will have an important part to play in Link’s journey.
