One of the Xbox One’s greatest features is its backwards compatibility.
Being able to play a huge number of Xbox 360 titles on the system is fantastic, bolstering its already huge library with some classics that would otherwise be resigned to the annals of history. On Tuesday, Microsoft are keen for Xbox One owners to make use of the feature, reducing over 275 titles for what they are calling the Backwards Compatible Super Sale.
Starting on the 16th May and running for a week, titles such as Call of Duty Black Ops 2, Red Dead Redemption, Skate 3 and Grand Theft Auto 4 are all set to be reduced, with Microsoft boasting that there will be up to 75% off. Whilst we don’t know for sure which other titles will be included in the sale yet, here are some we suggest you look out for:
- Alice: Madness Returns
- Assassins Creed: Rogue
- Bully: Scholarship Edition
- Burnout Paradise
- Castlevania: Symphony of the Night
- Dark Souls
- Fable 2 & 3
- Fallout 3 & New Vegas
- Far Cry 3
- Killer is Dead
- LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga
- Portal 2
- Shadows of the Damned
- Sonic and All-Stars Racing Transformed
- Tekken Tag Tournament 2
- The Witcher 2
- Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradise
Of course, this only a small selection of what is likely to be available, so be sure to check the Backwards Compatible Super Sale out when it starts on Tuesday to pick up some bargains.
