If You’re Playing The Surge, Expect to Get This Song Stuck in Your Head

The Surge, coming out this week, is a Dark Souls-esque RPG with a sci-fi setting. And it’s got a killer music track that’s going to be stuck in your head for weeks after playing.

For some reason we’re just not quite sure of, every time you visit an operations room, The Surge‘s equivalent of a Dark Souls bonfire, this song is on loop in the background. At first, having the same song on loop seems like a bad idea, but then it got into our heads and we can’t get enough of it.

The song in question is ‘Prisoner’ by Stumfol. It originally released back in 2013, but the artist and track seemingly disappeared into obscurity. Thanks to The Surge, though, I imagine Stumfol are going to see a, uh, surge of interest (sorry).
