Charming Open-World Adventure Game, Yonder, Releases on 18 July

Yonder

Developed by Prideful Sloth, an independent game studio based in Brisbane, Australia, Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles is certainly a game adventure fans should keep on their radar.

The action takes place on the colourful island of Gemea, where an unscrupulous dark force has been corrupting the land and plunging its inhabitants into despair. It’s up to you then, to unravel the mystery of the evil that’s plaguing Gemea’s lush locales, while also using your skills as a farmer, fisherman, cook and all-round general good-guy/girl to help its troubled denizens.

Inspired by titles such as Zelda and Harvest Moon, Prideful Sloth’s aim is to provide us with rich worlds for us to “explore, traverse and experience”. Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles certainly looks set to enable us to do that. It’s set for release on PlayStation 4 and PC on July 18. Check out the release date announcement trailer below to catch a glimpse of what’s in store.
