European Switch Owners May Have to Wait a Few More Months for The Binding of Isaac

The Binding of Isaac Afterbirth+

Released back in March for Nintendo Switch in the US, it would appear that those in the EU are probably going to have to wait a few more months before they can get their hands on The Binding of Isaac Afterbirth+.

Originally set for release within Q2 2017 in Europe, Amazon.co.uk now has the game listed as arriving on 7th September, while Just For Games, the French distributor of the title, tweeted it will be released on 14th September. Amazon.fr doesn’t seem to have had the memo yet though – it’s still got it down for release on 28th July.

Of course, with the Switch being region free, if you can’t wait to get your hands on The Binding of Isaac Afterbirth+ you can always buy the US version physically or from the eStore and play without any troubles whatsoever. Online stores such as 365 Games have it available right now, and whilst it may cost you a few quid extra, it’s probably worth it so you don’t have to twiddle your thumbs whiling away the time for the official EU release.
