If you’re a PC gamer that likes killing hordes of zombies and other monstrous creatures with a few mates, we have good news; the excellent Killing Floor is currently free on the Humble Store.
Released way back in 2009, Killing Floor developed by Tripwire Interactive is a co-op survival horror game that challenges you to defeat wave after wave of grotesque monsters with up to five other players by your side. Along the way, you’ll earn shedloads of cash that can be used to buy weapons, ammo and other equipment that may increase your chances of success, while a persistent perk system means that your efforts are always rewarded in the long run.Graphically it’s fairly dated now, but it’s still huge amounts of fun to play. And you’re always sure to find a game as the online community is still fairly buoyant, even though its sequel looks nicer and plays better. Still, you can’t beat free, so if you’ve not yet been introduced to the world of Killing Floor we suggest you get it while you can – the offer finishes on Saturday at 6pm BST. Oh, and if you’ve not got any friends or have a crappy internet connection don’t worry; there’s an offline solo game mode included too.
