Sony is Vying For New PS Plus Members By Giving Away Star Wars Battlefront Ultimate Edition

Sony has announced today that if you sign up for 12 months of PS Plus, you’ll get a free download code for Star Wars Battlefront Ultimate Edition.

Cool… I guess?

Or, hey Sony, how about just making the game an actual PS Plus title, so your existing, loyal fanbase doesn’t feel like you’ve just kicked them in the face? Just an idea.

The offer’s running until 30th June, or “while stocks last”, which is very vague. The terms and conditions also state that current PS Plus members are not eligible, and if you do take Sony up on the offer, you’ll receive an email with your code within 5-10 days.

If you’re not a PS Plus member and want to be, I suppose now’s the best time to do it – free shit is free shit, after all. The ultimate edition of Star Wars Battlefront contains all four expansion packs too, so that’s a lot of content. If you’re into Star Wars.

There’s more information over on the PlayStation Blog.

Alternatively, if you’ve got an Xbox, you can subscribe to EA Access for £20 a year and get Star Wars Battlefront as part of your membership.
