The Ultimate Edition of Assassin’s Creed Origins Will Set You Back £700

Just how much are you willing to pay for the best version of a game you can’t wait to play? £50? £70? £100? How about £700?

Now, I’m a big Assassin’s Creed fan, but there’s no way I’ll be spending the £700 that the “Legendary” edition of Assassin’s Creed Origins, dubbed the Dawn of the Creed, demands. Even if it is limited to only 999 units.

£700, or £699.99 to be exact, is a hell of a lot of money, and for that you get a 73cm tall resin statue of Bayek & Senu, 4 exclusive lithographs, a certificate of authenticity, a resin replica of Bayek’s amulet, a steelbook, the game’s soundtrack, an artbook, some artcards, a world map, and finally, a copy of the game complete with season pass and additional DLC. I mean, that’s a lot of stuff, sure, but is worth £699.99? That’s up to you.

Assassin’s Creed Origins is set to release on the 27th October for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. I honestly can’t wait to get my hands on it. It looks like Ubisoft have really pushed themselves to expand on the gameplay and deliver a fresh new Assassin’s Creed experience. I will not, however, be spending £700 on it. No sir-ree.
