Sine Mora EX Gets an August Release Date for PC, PS4 and Xbox One

Sine Mora EX Header

Sine Mora EX, an extended version of 2012’s critically acclaimed Sine Mora, will be available on 8th August for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, it has been revealed today. A Switch release will follow just a tad later.

A 2.5D bullet hell shooter, for those not in the know, Sine Mora was unique for its time mechanic. Instead of the player having a health bar, they were allotted time in which to complete a mission. Take damage, and time would quickly deplete, though by eliminating enemies more time could be added back onto the clock. It was an interesting feature that has thankfully been left intact in the extended edition.

New features in Sine Mora EX include a 16:9 aspect ratio, local co-op for 2 players in story mode, English voice acting, three new versus modes – Race, Tanks and Dodgeball – and new challenge levels. It’s definitely not just a simple port, don’t you worry. Oh, and it also features improved rendering, which I guess is a fancy way of saying it’ll look nicer.

If you like gorgeous looking side-scrolling shooters, you should definitely keep Sine Mora EX on your radar. If it’s already on there, well done. Remember it’s available on 8th August for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and Switch shortly after. The PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Switch will also be privy to physical copies for you collectors out there.
