Things are looking good for Nintendo Switch in terms of third party support so far.
Today, 2K Games has announced that their annual wrestling title will be coming to Nintendo’s handheld. Releasing on 17th October on PS4 and Xbox One, a Switch version of WWE 2K18 will be releasing shortly after, with the release date currently marked as ‘Fall 2017’.
Check out the official announcement video below:
WWE 2K18 will be the first WWE game in five years to release on a Nintendo platform – the last being WWE ’13 for Wii back in 2012.
The Switch version of WWE 2K18 will also see some enhancements over the PS4 and Xbox One releases, including a ‘MyCAREER’ experience, a larger roster than any other WWE game, and an updated customisation suite.
It’s promising to see that 2K sees value in the Switch as a platform, and will hopefully pave the way for numerous other yearly franchises to follow suit.
