Sid Meier’s Civilization VI is set to consume even more of your valuable time next year, thanks to the arrival of a meaty expansion pack going by the moniker Rise and Fall.
Set for release on 8th February, the Rise and Fall expansion pack will add a host of new features to Civilization VI that are bound to keep you up until the wee hours of the morning.
The introduction of the great ages, for example, will allow your civilization to ebb and flow between Dark Ages and Golden ages as you reach historic milestones, providing specific challenges or bonuses based on your in-game actions. A new loyalty system will reward or punish you for your management your cities. The alliance system will be enhanced, and when a civilization becomes too powerful other civilizations will be able to join a pact against it to earn rewards or penalties. And alongside all that, new content will be added too, such as new leaders, buildings, wonders and so on. You’ll even be able to recruit and appoint Governors. The Rise and Fall expansion aims to make Civilization VI more dynamic than ever, and it certainly looks set to do so.
So, if you’re a fan of Civilization VI you’ve got a lot to look forward too.
