The 10 Best Xbox One X Enhanced Games That You Should Play

Assassin's Creed Origins Xbox One X Enhanced

The Xbox One X is simply a beast of a machine.

When games are released or updated to support it, they can look absolutely phenomenal, load faster, and even play better.

There are now over 75 games that are Xbox One X enhanced, but if you’re looking to pick up the ones that show off the hardware the most we’ve got you covered. Here are the ten games that you need to play if you’ve picked up an Xbox One X – the games with the best Xbox One X enhancements.

STEEP Road to the Olympics 2

Ubisoft’s Steep may not be on the receiving end of too many Xbox One X enhancements, but by simply upping the resolution and boosting the framerate it’s transformed from being a good game to a great game.

It’s more immersive, the controls are more responsive, and the game’s HDR effects are given more opportunity to shine (no pun intended). Steep‘s open mountains are an absolute pleasure to speed down in any way you want – observing the beautiful sights while you do so – but with the power of Xbox One X behind it, the experience is just so much better.

Gears of War 3

Gears of War 3

Gears of War 3 may be a game that’s now over six years old, but you wouldn’t guess so when it’s running on an Xbox One X.

I mean, when it originally came out Gears of War 3 was no slouch visually, but things move quickly in the games industry. Thanks to what can only be described as magic, however, when running at native 4K it looks better than many games specifically designed for the Xbox One. Thanks Epic, for being so forward thinking and using ridiculously good assets for the game all those years ago.

Honestly, if you’ve never played Gears of War 3 before give it a try if you own an Xbox One X, you’ll be more than pleasantly surprised.
