Friday 12th January
A new trailer for Bandai Namco’s The Seven Deadly Sins: Knights of Britannia has been released. Watch it here.

Retro-platformer Rad Rodgers is making its way to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It’ll be released on 21st February, and the PC version will receive a patch on the same day to add in additional features found in the console release.
Azkend 2: The World Beneath is now available on Nintendo Switch.
An extra day has been added to the Dragonball FighterZ launch party event. The event will now cover the 26th & 27th of January, so if you missed out on tickets before, why not try again. You can book your tickets for free here.
Thursday 11th January
Zwei: The Arges Adventure has been dated for a 24th January release on PC.
Space Invaders Extreme is coming to Steam this February in order to celebrate the franchise’s 40th anniversary.
Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age is set to release on 1st February on PC. A physical collector’s edition is available from the Square Enix store.
The King of Fighters ’98 is now available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, priced at $7.99/£6.39.
Assassin’s Creed Rogue Remastered is coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on 2oth March. It includes all the DLC content as well as enhanced graphics. Check out the trailer.
Of Mice and Sand Revised is a strategy sim about building a desert vessel. It’s available now on the Switch eShop for $9.99. Here’s a trailer.
Neogeo game Art of Fighting 2 lands on Switch today, priced $7.99.
Beautiful looking platformer Fe is coming to PC and consoles on 16th February. Watch the trailer.
Atlus has released a new combat trailer for The Alliance Alive, a JRPG coming to 3DS on 27th March.
Trailmakers is a ‘vehicle building adventure’ from ex-Rare, IO and Press Play devs. It’ll be in early access from 31st January. Check out the trailer.

Stingbot Games’ action adventure platformer The Forbidden Arts hits early access on 7th February, ahead of its scheduled 2019 console launch. Here’s a trailer.
Dark Souls Remastered is coming to PC, PS4, Xbox One and Switch on 25th May. Get ready for YOU DIED all over again.
Nintendo stealth-released a mini Nintendo Direct packed full of updates. Hyrule Warriors, The World Ends With You, Mario Tennis, Ys VII, Fe, Celese and Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze are all getting Switch ports. There’s new DLC for Payday 2, Mario + Rabbids, Mario Odyssey and Pokken, and a release date of 16th March for Kirby: Star Allies. You can see everything from the Direct right here.
Massive space exploration strategy game Stellaris is getting a new expansion, Apocalypse, coming in early 2018.
Striker’s Edge, a ‘dodgebrawl battle’ is coming to PC and PS4 on 30th January. Here’s a trailer.
10tons’ newest game, Tesla vs Lovecraft is coming to Steam on 26th January, following on PS4, Xbox One and Steam later this spring. It’s a top-down twin-stick shooter that looks pretty fun – check out its Steam page.

Kemco has announced Dragon Sinker, an 8-bit old-school RPG, is coming to PS4 and Vita soon.
Axiom Verge, the excellent metroidvania made by Tom Happ, is getting a UK physical release on 26th January. There’s also a deluxe Multiverse Edition that includes an art book, poster, soundtrack and making-of CD. Pre-order it now.

Tuesday 9th January
The latest ACA NeoGeo Arcade Archives game to come to PS4 is Front Line, an action game from 1983. It’s available now for $8 — check out a trailer.
Nemesis Realms, a local party game that combines VR with regular play is coming to early access on 22nd January. It’ll put one player in VR to fight a boss while everyone else plays as secondary heroes to assist. Here’s a trailer.
Azkend 2: The World Beneath, a match-three puzzle game from 10tons, lands on Switch on Friday.
Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced that 5.9 million PlayStation 4 units were sold worldwide over the Christmas period. That’s 73.6 million units sold since launch. Good going, Sony!

Monday 8th January
Fat Dog Games are publishing Ignis, a skill-based battle arena game developed by Deusald Studio due to release in Q4 this year. Check out a trailer and more information here.
Independent UK developer Rebellion has acquired Radiant Worlds, the UK development studio founded by Andrew Oliver, Philip Oliver and Richard Smithies. They will become Rebellion Warwick.
Fully Illustrated’s brilliant Wulverblade is coming to Steam, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One “stupidly soon”.
The Station, a first-person sci-fi mystery, launches on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on 20th February. Find out more on the game’s website.
Nindies New Year Sales reduces nine Switch games by 35% until 15th January. The titles on offer are: Death Squared, GoNNER, Graceful Explosion Machine, INVERSUS Deluxe, Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime, Semispheres, Severed, Thimbleweed Park and Thumper. Head on over to the eShop to check them out.
