Three Reasons You Should Buy Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice on Xbox One

Ninja Theory’s excellent Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice is now available on Xbox One, and you know what? You should definitely buy it.

Why? Well, there are plenty of reasons. But let us spell out the main three for you.

1. It’s a Great Game

In case you’re not aware, Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice is a bloody good game. We reviewed the PC version of it last year, awarding it 8/10, and we often wonder if we were a bit harsh on it. It tells a dark, touching story that is masterfully presented with stunning visual and sound design. It’s also got brutal, uncompromising combat that is as entertaining as it is visceral. And if you like puzzles then you’ll be in your element. Not only has it got rather a lot of them, but they’re quite ingenious too.

Honestly, you’ll have never played anything quite like Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice. It’s a work of art. A masterpiece.

2. It’s Xbox One X Enhanced

When it launched on PlayStation 4 last year, Hellbade: Senua’s Sacrifice featured PlayStation 4 Pro support, boosting its resolution and/or performance. Of course, it looked and played better on PC thanks to a myriad of visual options, but no matter which format you played it on it was visually impressive. Unless you’ve got a beefy PC worth about twice the price of an Xbox One X, however, Microsoft’s powerhouse is now the best place to play it.

With its trio of graphic modes, Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice on Xbox One X is great, but we can’t see any reason why anyone would want to play the game on anything other than enriched mode. Upping the resolution while also adding in more foliage and special effects, it’s essentially akin to playing the PC version at max settings. Suffice to say, it looks outstanding.

3. There’s a Chance You’ll Be Supporting a Charity

Ninja Theory, comprised of a very talented and generous team, has set a goal: if 50,000 copies of Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice are sold by April 18th, it will donate $25,000 to Mental Health America. And if 100,000 copies are sold it’ll double it. That’s a whopping $50,000.

So, if you’re in the market to be charitable and add a great new game to your Xbox One library, look no further – Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice is your answer. You’ll be in for just under 10 hours of mesmerising entertainment and potentially supporting a good cause.

Convinced? Head on over to the Xbox Store to buy Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice right now. There’s also 10% off its price for a limited time, making it a wallet friendly £22.49/$26.99.
