There's currently something strange going on between Sony and the UK arm of Amazon.

If you've seen all the amazing God of War reviews and live in the UK, you might have headed over to Amazon.co.uk to preorder it before its release this Friday. And chances are, like me, you saw that it's currently unavailable and just assumed that it's out of stock. The thing is though, that's probably not the problem. If you do a search for any Sony published game that you might like to preorder in the near future - Detroit: Become Human, The Last of Us Part II, Days Gone, or Spider-Man - they're all unavailable.

Sony Games Amazon

It seems like a problem isolated to Amazon.co.uk; if you visit Amazon.de, Amazon.it or Amazon.com, for instance, Sony titles can be preordered with no issues whatsoever, which just makes the matter all the more unusual.

I've reached out to Amazon.co.uk's press office and Sony UK PR hoping that either can shed some light on the matter, but as of yet neither have replied with a comment. Suffice to say, if you're in the UK and want to preorder God of War for release this Friday, Amazon.co.uk probably isn't going to meet your needs.
