It's always disappointing when a game's release date gets pushed back.
If it's to make the game better though, then we're onboard.
Deep Silver and 4A Games has today announced that its upcoming Metro Exodus has been pushed back to Q1 2019 for that very reason. Citing that they want to deliver a game that meets players' expectations, Metro Exodus will now benefit from an extra few months of development time. Of course, it also allows to game to avoid some pretty heavy competition that's landing later this year.
To take the edge off of the disappointment, we've been assured that there'll be some new gameplay footage made available for E3. Make sure you keep an eye out for it!
