Set for worldwide release on 7th September, even if you’re not a fan of superhero games you should probably be excited for Spider-Man’s latest outing on PS4.
Yesterday, Insomniac Games revealed that the PS4 version of Spider-Man has gone gold, meaning that mass manufacturing of the title can begin. It also means that the developer has ample time to add some polish before the game’s release in five weeks time.

Developed by Insomniac Games, the company behind hits such as InFamous, Ratchet & Clank and Sunset Overdrive, Spider-Man looks set to plunge gamers into a detailed open world. And to ensure that anyone who’s playing is having fun, they’ll have access to all of Spider-Man’s special abilities. We’re sure they’ll come in handy as you battle against the villains who have escaped confinement.
Excited? You probably should be. Spider-Man’s last video game outing was far from spectacular, but everything we’ve seen of Insomniac Games’ Spider-Man points to the game being a hit.
