We can’t say that we’ve ever sat down with Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice and wondered what it would be like in VR, but now that Ninja Theory has announced it we’re intrigued.
Set for release on 31st July, Hellblade Senua’s Sacrifice VR will be free for those who purchase or already own Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice on Steam. And it’s not a short stand-alone experience; it offers Senua’s journey in full, plus some experimental game modes and a range of comfort options.
You’ll of course need an Oculus Rift or HTC Vive headset to get in on the action, and it also sounds like you’ll need at least an Nvidia GTX 1080 for the optimum experience. Though it’s understandable given how good the game looks and the high framerate required for comfortable VR.
