Overwatch Summer Games 2018 is Coming August 9th

After the release of Overwatch’s new hero, Wrecking Ball, many players feels spoiled with the announcement that Summer Games is coming back very soon.

This year marks the third annual Overwatch Summer Games event. Players can expect the event to launch on August 9th according to Blizzard’s recent tweet and, as seen from the teaser, Lucioball will be returning with a brand new map. The map looks to be based in Busan, South Korea.

Along with Lucioball, players should expect brand new skins and accessories to unlock. Like all events, legendary skins will be 3,000 coins so if you haven’t yet, you should start saving up while you can. Last year’s skins will be discounted, meaning that 2017’s legendary skins will cost 1,000 coins. All other 2017 items with be discounted as well.
