Brand new outfit customisations in Shadow of the Tomb Raider means getting to play a little bit of dress up with our lovely protagonist Lara Croft.
Changing outfits is a fun and important part of the game. If you’re not sure how to do so, here’s how you change Lara’s outfits in Shadow of the Tomb Raider.
Change Lara’s costume in Shadow of the Tomb Raider
Start at a campfire where you’re able to upgrade your skills as well as have access your inventory. When you have the option of Skills, Inventory or Fast Travel, click on the “Inventory” section. From there, your first page should be where you can look at, choose, and upgrade your weapons. If you click over to the right to access the next menu you should be able to see all of Lara’s different outfits.
There are two different kinds of outfits that Lara can equip: full body, and upper body/lower body. The full body outfits are outfits that cover Lara entirely. For example, the pixelated Lara from Tomb Raider 2 is a full body outfit. If you decide to equip your jaguar skin items, those are separate upper and lower body pieces. This means later if you want to combine your jaguar top with a different bottom, you can mix and match to give Lara different attributes.
And there you have it! It’s easy once you realise that there’s another clothes menu hidden in the same place where you upgrade your weapons. Outfit customisation is one of the cooler additions to this trilogy so get going and see how many outfits you can find!
