Not sure how to save your game in Sunless Sea: Zubmariner Edition on the PlayStation 4? Here’s how.
In order to save your game, you need to dock at a port, any port (the lighter-coloured circles next to land masses). The game will then save your game automatically. However, once you die that save game will be erased, meaning you’ll have to start all over again.
To disable Sunless Sea: Zubmariner Edition’s permadeath feature and save manually, you need to the following:
- Dock at a port as usual.
- Hit the “Options” button.
- Go to Manual Save.
- When the game warns you that you’ll lose your Invictus Token, hit X to say Yes.
- You’ll now be able to save the game manually at any port.
The “Invictus Token” is in fact just a badge of honour so if you want a more forgiving experience, manual saving is the way to go. You can then load your game from the options menu in-game or from the main menu.
