How to Use Photo Mode in Shadow of the Tomb Raider

Shadow of the Tomb Raider 2

Shadow of the Tomb Raider is a beautiful game. It really is.

As you explore the many locations that you visit on your journey, you’ll definitely feel the urge to take some photos and perhaps share them. Thankfully, Shadow of the Tomb Raider makes it easy.

To activate Shadow of the Tomb Raider‘s photo mode, simply pause the game at any time and select the Photographer Mode option. You can even do it during story scenes.

Once you’re in Shadow of the Tomb Raider‘s photo mode, you can use the shoulder buttons to move through a range of options including depth of field, brightness, filters, and even frames. You can also use the analogue sticks to move the camera around, though only if you entered photo mode during gameplay.

When you’re ready to take a photo, simply hide the user interface by pressing Y on Xbox One or triangle on PS4, and then use your system’s screenshot function to capture your scene.

If you want to have some fun with your pictures, why not change Lara’s facial expression in them. Lara has a range of expressions including being surprised and angry. Used in the right circumstances, they can make your images very amusing!
