Are you ready to get dirty again?
Released earlier this year, we quite enjoyed Monster Energy Supercross but found its career mode a little lacking. Thankfully it’s one of the things that is set to be improved in the game’s sequel, planned to launch in February 2019.
Arriving just one year after the release of its predecessor, developer Milestone is aiming high with Monster Energy Supercross 2. It’s going to feature a revamped career mode in which your actions off the track make a difference, while also giving you access to more events and activities. Additionally, there’ll be more customisation items than ever before, allowing you to make your experience your own, and the gameplay itself is going to be more realistic thanks to the development of new technologies.
Features like the track editor will return, and there’ll be additional training compounds too. Basically, with Monster Energy Supercross 2, Milestone wants to build on the foundations laid by the original title in order to create a more substantial package that feels more authentic and engaging. Will they succeed? We’ll find out on PS4, Xbox One, Switch and PC early next year. In the meantime, you can check out the announcement trailer for the game below.
