5Assassin’s Creed Rogue
Often the forgotten entry in the franchise due to its release at the same time as Assassin’s Creed Unity, Shay Cormac’s adventure allowed players the chance to play as a Templar. The new recruit to the Order finds himself disillusioned with the order and outcast. Cormac is a very likeable protagonist, and endears himself to the player even as the ‘bad guy’.
Assassin’s Creed Rogue built on the brilliant seafaring adventure of Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag. Though not quite as well executed as this, the naval combat was a real highlight of the game. It lacked the interesting settings to explore that we’ve come to expect from Assassin’s Creed games, but still a brilliant entry in the franchise.
