There’s nothing quite like slamming into other people’s cars with your car. Destruction is fun!
Ubisoft announced today that its open world racing game The Crew 2 will receive its second major – and free – update, Demolition Derby, on December 5th. This new update will introduce a demolition derby discipline (say that five times fast) where players try to earn a spot in the top 3 by getting a high score in a certain amount of time. And did we mention it’s completely free?
Two new arenas will be added to the game where this new discipline will take place. The Bonneville Salt Flats allows players to earn points by crushing their enemies’ cars while trying to avoid obstacles in their path. The Tucson aircraft cemetery will act as the second arena where players will be able to push their opponents off the track.
In addition to this new content, the free update will include a PvP mode where eight players can compete in a variety of disciplines in order to level up. The update will also feature high-octane contests with exclusive Drift, Alpha Grand Prix, and Rally Cross challenges. Additionally, this month’s The Crew 2 monthly vehicle drop includes the Audi RS3 LMS – 2017 and the Aerobat – VS12 – 2018.
