Playing Spyro Reignited Trilogy? When you reach the Peace Keepers level in Spyro the Dragon, you’re likely to come across a couple of chests that just won’t open.
It doesn’t matter if you breathe fire at them or charge into them, and there are no key holes on them either. So just how do you open them? With a canon.
There are numerous canons placed around the Peace Keepers level, and you can rotate them by using the wooden plaques on the rear of them. Simply rotate the one nearest to the chests by moving Spyro against the wooden plaque, and then ignite it with Spyro’s fire breath. The canon will then shoot, hitting a chest and spilling its contents for you to pick up.
The canons have other uses in Peace Keepers, too. They can be used to gain access to an additional part of the level by shooting the large red target that’s on a rock, just near the sealed chests. Also, try to use a canon to shoot an enemy that’s taunting you – you’ll get an achievement or trophy for it, depending on the platform you’re playing on.
