Tripwire Interactive announced today that Road Redemption, the spiritual successor to Road Rash, launches today for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.
Following a very successful crowdfunding campaign, Tripwire Interactive in partnership with developers at EQ-Games and Pixel Dash Studios will be releasing their popular game Road Redemption on consoles. PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch will launch today with Xbox One “coming soon”.
When we reviewed Road Redemption’s PC release back in October last year we thought it was excellent saying that: “Road Redemption is the Road Rash successor that fans have been waiting for, capturing the very essence of the much-loved series and bringing it violently up to date.”
Road Redemption finds players leading a biker gang on a long journey across the United States. You earn money by completing races, assassinations, robberies, and other challenges.
As you play you’ll earn money which can be used to upgrade your characters abilities, bikes, and weapons. Road Redemption comes with a huge single player campaign, dozens of weapons to buy, 4-player split screen, and online multiplayer. If you fancy giving it a go, it’s available now on PC, PS4 and Switch for $20.
