The LEGO Movie 2 Videogame is Coming Next Year

LEGO really know how to give inanimate objects personality and the people love it.

Warner Bros. Interactive, TT Games, and the LEGO Group announced today that The LEGO Movie 2 will be receiving its own video game. The game will be based on the events from the much anticipated LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part coming February next year.

The game will feature brand new characters, mysterious locations, and action featured in both the first LEGO movie and the second.

When alien invaders leave Bricksburg completely torn apart, Emmet, Lucy, and the rest of the heroic crew must go beyond their world to save their friends from the strange inhabitants of the Systar System. Players will scour the stars for rare items and materials all while discovering brand new environments, vehicles, and brand new creatures.

The LEGO Movie 2 Video Game will be available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in 2019. No set release date has been given, but it will release “alongside the film”, so we should expect it sometime near February 2019.
