Frontier Developments announced today a new DLC for Jurassic World Evolution, featuring Dr. Wu played by B.D. Wong.
Later this month on November 20th, Jurassic World Evolution players can look forward to brand new content titled The Secrets of Dr. Wu. The DLC unlocks brand new campaign missions which will allow players to take control of two hidden research facilities on Isla Muerta and Isla Tacaño. At these two facilities, players will find Dr. Wu developing a new generation of hybrid dinosaurs.
Because people apparently never learn their lessons, players will confront a new level of elevated chaos in this DLC caused by Dr. Wu’s creations as they work alongside the doctor discovering new dig sites, facility upgrades, and research opportunities.
The Secrets of Dr. Wu also introduces a new herbivore, the Olorotitan, as well as the venomous Troodon. These additions will be accompanied by Dr. Wu’s three creations: Stegoceratops, Ankylodocus, and Spinoraptor. As players progress through Jurassic World: Evolution’s new add-on, they will unlock new upgrades and research options including the Indominus Rex gene from 2015’s Jurassic World. New campaign missions also will unlock after players receive a four star rating on Isla Muerta.
Along with The Secrets of Dr. Wu, on November 20th players will also get a free update which introduces a day/night cycle to the campaign, new dinosaur grouping and sleeping behaviours, new contracts and new large-capacity feeders.
Jurassic World Evolution: The Secrets of Dr. Wu launches later this month for $14.99/£12.99 on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. For more information check out the official website and watch the trailer for the new DLC below.
