A Limited Time Resident Evil 2 Remake Demo Coming This Week

Resident Evil 2 Remake-min

Dying to get your hands on Resident Evil 2, but can’t wait for January 25th? Capcom has you covered.

Before its launch later this month, Capcom is giving its players a sneak peak at Resident Evil 2 from January 11th to January 31st.

Named the 1-Shot Demo, players will only have 30 minutes to play it. If players complete the mission objective in under 30 minutes, they can restart the mission and use up their full time. If players instead get eaten by zombies, they can continue any number of times until the 30 minutes is up.

The end of the demo will reveal a new cinematic trailer exclusive to demo participants. While players cannot restart the playable demo after their time is up, there are no limitation on how many times the exclusive trailer can be watched.

In this demo, players will step into the boots of Leon S. Kennedy, a rookie Raccoon City police officer, as he arrives at the police station only to discover that things have gone to hell in a hand basket. With an entire building of flesh-eating monsters lurking around every corner, Leon must escape as the clock ticks down forcing him to make quick decisions or risk being eaten alive.

Resident Evil 2 will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC on January 25th. Pre-order Resident Evil 2 on Amazon now.
