1You Don’t Need a PlayStation Console Thanks to PS Now
It may have been overshadowed by Microsoft’s excellent Xbox Game Pass service as of late, but Sony’s PlayStation Now is still pretty good.
For £12.99/$19.99 a month you gain access to over 500 games with PS Now. Most of those are PS3 games, but there’s also a huge number of PS4 games available via the service. If you’re a PS4 owner, almost all of the PS4 and PS2 games available can be downloaded to your console, too, meaning you won’t have any streaming troubles.
The good thing about PS Now is that you don’t need a console to make use of it though. If you’ve got a PC – and who hasn’t? – you can simply download an app and gain access to a huge number of games that otherwise wouldn’t be available to you. Unfortunately there’s no option to download games on PC, so you’ll need a decent internet connection to get the most out of it, but it still offers excellent value.
Thinking about subscribing to PS Now and wondering which games you should tackle first? Here are what we believe to be the best PS4 games currently available on service. And remember, there’s a free PS Now trial available if you want to give it a go without spending any money.
