Launching worldwide on 28th June for PS4, Xbox One and PC, F1 2019 will arrive two months earlier into the F1 season than last year’s entry in the series.
F1 2019 has apparently been in development for nearly two years, and will come complete with new features that are currently being kept under wraps. They will be unveiled in the comings months as the game nears release though.
What has been revealed, however, is that the game will allow you to get behind the wheel of a 2019 regulation car specifically designed in collaboration with F1’s technical team. The caveat? It’ll only be available to use in multiplayer.
Honestly, we weren’t blown away by F1 2018 – it just didn’t feel like a true sequel to F1 2017, more like an enhanced version of it. Hopefully F1 2019 won’t do the same. Codemasters at least claims that it’s the most ambitious release in franchise history, so there’s that.
