One Piece World Seeker gives you the option to change protagonist’s Luffy’s clothes – if you want to remove him from his iconic Straw Hat Pirate garb, that is.
The simple act of change Luffy’s outfit is pretty simple. The hardest part is actually finding outfits to change into. Here, we’ll go over both.
How to get new outfits in One Piece World Seeker
Finding new outfits in the world of One Piece World Seeker is no easy task. In fact, in a standard playthrough, after about seventeen hours with the game, I’d only found one new outfit.
To get new outfits, you’ll need to find blueprints, which will allow you to craft different outfits for Luffy.
Blueprints will be found in chests dotted around the map. Chests are marked on the map, and you can easily see how many in each area you’ve got by looking under the region’s name on the map. However, you’ll want to keep an eye out specifically for silver chests, as these contain rarer items like blueprints. Not every silver chest will contain a blueprint, and not every blueprint will be for an outfit, however!
You’ll also be rewarded blueprints for completing certain side missions, so it pays to spend a bit of time away from One Piece World Seeker‘s main story.
Turning blueprints into outfits
Once you’ve found a new outfit blueprint, you’ll need to return to the Thousand Sunny, Luffy’s ship, and talk to Franky – the big guy with metal hands. He can craft items from the blueprints you’ve found.
However, you’ll also need to have the materials required for crafting. Outfits tend to require rare items, so finding them is not always easy. Make sure you collect as much as you can while you’re exploring the world.
Providing you do have all the materials, talking to Franky will provide you with a crafting menu. Select the outfit you want to craft, and click OK. And voila – you’ve now got a new outfit in your inventory.
How to change your outfit
In order to change your outfit in One Piece World Seeker, you need to be on the Thousand Sunny. As you enter the ship from the jetty, there’s a door on your right-hand side. Approach the door and you’ll be prompted to change your outfit. Clicking OK will bring up a list of Luffy’s available outfits. Choose the one you want to change into, and back out of the menus.
There you go: a brand new fancy dressed Luffy!
