There’s nothing wrong with giving something a little more time.
Frogwares, the team behind The Sinking City have pushed back their release date to June 27th, 2019.
The Sinking City is a story-driven free investigation game set in an H.P Lovecraft inspired universe. Step into Oakmont, Massachusetts – a place suffering from decay and rot from supernatural floods that have slowly begun to envelope the city as well as the minds of the inhabitants. You play as private investigator Charles W. Reed who slowly begins to go insane from his inner demons in the horrifying city.
In an explanation video from the studio they’ve said that due to the amount of huge AAA titles coming out during the month of February the team want to release The Sinking City during a less “crowded” part of the year. Plus, this additional time will allow for even more improvements.
The Sinking City is set to release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC in June. You can pre-order the game on Amazon.
