Delve into the shrouded mystery and gruesome past of Wharton Manor in Dreadful Bond.
Dreadful Bond is the first game created under the creative direction of famed Italian horror director Dario Argento (Suspiria, Deep Red, Phenomena/Creepers, Opera). Yesterday premiered his new short film titled “For Bridget” based on the upcoming game.
Developed on Unreal 4 by Clod Studio, Dario Argento’s Dreadful Bond is a first-person psychological horror game where the first victim is your sanity.
It starts at the abandoned Wharton Manor, a place that holds the key to both ancient secrets and the memory of recent horrors.
Wharton Manor is a prison-like mansion filled with strange happenings like voices, memories and shadows all essential to solving the mystery of the Empuros’ connection to the horrific acts committed there. A personal hell will follow the player as they move along the story.
So far, Dreadful Bond has raised more than 20% of its funding goal on Kickstarter. The campaign is set to end of April 25th at 3 a.m. Pacific Time. Clod Studio seeks $64,454 USD in completion funds on Kickstarter for the game. If the crowdfunding campaign is successful the game is to be expected to launch in December 2020.
