World War Z Releases on Consoles and PC April 16th

World War Z has received a new gameplay overview trailer.

Saber Interactive, the team behind the highly anticipated co-op shooter inspired by Paramount Pictures’ blockbuster film World War Z, have revealed some new information about the game. The new gameplay trailer dives into the intense action that players can expect while scavenging, running and blasting hordes of hundreds of zombies.

World War Z’s co-op campaign takes place across four episodes, each containing three chapters, set in New York, Jerusalem, Moscow and Tokyo. Before beginning, players will select a class and weapon loadout.  Whether supporting the team with ammo and heals, specialsing in explosives or unleashing devastating firepower, you’ll find a class suited to any playstyle.

Every session of World War Z will tell its own unique story of survival through the help of the AI director, which constantly adapts to the actions of you and your squad. A stealthy approach will be rewarded with less zombie spawn allowing you to conserve ammunition.

Alongside the campaign, players can also compete against each other in 4v4 across a variety of Player vs. Player vs. Zombies modes. This includes twists on the classic King of the Hill, Domination and Deathmatch game modes.

World War Z is available for pre-order now on all platforms digitally or physically on their website.

The game is expected to launch April 16th, 2019 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC via the Epic Games Store.
