Catch a Slakoth During Pokémon Go’s Next Community Day on 8th June

Pokémon Go players have a lovely community day coming up.

Niantic and The Pokémon Company have just announced a new community day in Pokemon Go, which will take place on June 8th. Players will have the chance to catch one of the laziest Pokémon who could give Snorlax a run for his money: the adorable sloth-like Slakoth.

Slakoth is a normal type Pokémon who typically spawns in residential areas, but during the active hours of Community Day you’ll see these lazy boys everywhere. It’s pretty weak to fighting moves if you plan to take a Slakoth into combat – and considering its primary quick move is a zero-damage “yawn”, it’s no wonder. But look how cute it is!

Pokémon Go‘s Community Day on 8th June only last three hours, though, so if you want to bag yourself a lovely little Slakoth, make sure you clear your calendar for that afternoon. The event will kick off at 3pm local time, running until 6pm.

Be sure to log into Pokémon Go on 8th June and take part to grab your adorable lazy Slakoth in the wild.
