Celebrate 15 Years of WoW with the Release of World of Warcraft Classic this August

Blizzard is celebrating 15 years of WoW with the Release of World of Warcraft Classic.

Heroes of Azeroth, Blizzard has reached a fantastic milestone with 15 years of World of Warcraft.

Starting August 27th World of Warcraft players will be able to relive the early days of Azeroth with World of Warcraft Classic.

With World of Warcraft Classic, Blizzard have rebuilt the original WoW as it was at the time of the “Drums of War” update (patch 1.12.0) back in August of 2006. This version of the game will be included for all WoW subscribers at no additional cost.

Players will be able to take a trip into the past to re-experience – or experience for the first time – 40-player raids on Molten Core, days-long PvP battle at Tarren Mill and the grand, server-wide effort to open the gates of Ahn’Qiraj.

World of Warcraft Classic is a chance for players new and old to see where the series started and fall in love all over again with the brilliant, flourishing world of Azeroth.

A special 15th anniversary edition of the game is available for pre-order right now for $99.99.
