Why don’t games have simple names anymore?
Like “Bob”. I’d play a game named “Bob”. Anyway, I’d probably play Super Cane Magic Zero too, and this one actually exists. Publisher Intragames Co. Ltd. has announced the release date for its upcoming couch co-op game Super Cane Magic Zero (say that five times fast) coming to Steam, Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 on May 30th, 2019.
With a name like Super Cane Magic Zero you would expect it to be a crazy, upbeat, fast-paced adventure. Well, you’re wrong. It’s a game about the inevitability of death and letting go of all of life’s hardships.
Just kidding: it is totally a crazy, upbeat, fast-paced adventure. The world of WOTF is in grave danger after the village of Poptarts explodes, causing a huge vegetable riot. You (and your friends) play a group of semi-naked adventurers who hope to save the day.
Super Cane Magic Zero will have you squishing on the couch with your friends for over 20 hours of story featuring characters from YouTube cartoonist Simone “Sio” Albrigi.
If this all sounds familiar to you, it probably is: Super Cane Magic Zero has been available on Steam via early access since 2015. And after a number of delays, finally, four years later, it’s ready to release to the world in full. The game will release digitally on 30th May 2019 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and PC for $24.99/£22.49.
