You better believe it, Hideo Kojima’s Death Stranding will be released this year. There’s a trailer to prove it.
After more than 100,000 people tuned in to watch some obscured footage, it has been revealed that you’ll be able to play Death Stranding on your PS4 on 8th November. You might also then be able to start understanding what the hell it’s all about. Hideo Kojima says it about “forging connections with others”, but yeah, give the epic nine minute trailer below a watch and see what you think.
Whether it leaves you confused or not, the new Death Stranding trailer certainly has an effect on you. It looks a bit dull in parts, very interesting in others, and sometimes quite scary. Needless to say, we can’t wait to actually play the thing.
The trailer also reveals some new characters portrayed by some big names. Norman Reedus and Mads Mikkelsen are of course in there, and it turns out that Guillermo Del Toro and Nicolas Winding Refn are, too. So it’s got an all-star cast, but does it have the gameplay to match? We’ll find out later this year.
